Online Mode
The course aims to provide professionals with working knowledge of OpenFOAM, an open source CFD tool, and use it for their day-to-day research and development activities. It is specifically designed to cater to engineers working in the area of chemical engineering applications such as fluid flow, heat transfer, reaction, fluidization, and fluid-structure interaction.
After successfully completing the course, the participants should be able to:
1) Setup simple applications on OpenFOAM (including geometry, boundary conditions, and meshing),
2) Solve the CFD problem with optimal parameters,
3) Visualise the solution on paraview and
4) Compare the solution with known literature values.
