The Centre of Excellence in Oil, Gas and Energy offers fellowship for PhD under the TAP programme of the institute. This fellowship is available through faculty members of certain departments who have got their proposals to avail TAP PhD positions approved apriori. Thestudents will be informed by their relevant departments at the time of selection and may opt for it if so desired. The fellowship amount will be equivalent to that of TA category. The students joining the CoE-OGE TAP scheme for PhD will get an opportunity to work closely with the oil and gas sector industries and may need to spend some time from the fellowship duration at the industry for carrying out collaborative research. A research grant of upto 3 Lakhs is admissible during the entire fellowship duration to the supervisor/guide
