Virtual Meeting
The second webinar in this series on biomass was on "Compressed Biogas projects Implementation: Technology scaleup & Feedstock supply chains" and was held on 25 Jan 2021. Prof.Y.Shastri, Dept of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay, moderated the session, and Dr Anil Kakodkar was the chief guest of the session. The session started with the opening remarks by Dr SSV Ramakumar, Director (R&D) Indian oil, and the other speakers were Mr Subodh Kumar, Advisor- Biofuels, Indian Oil Corporation, spoke on Issues in bioenergy technology deployment and supply chain logistics. Mr Nitin Shete, Vice President-Praj Industries Ltd, talked about Challenges in biogas and biofuel technology development. Mr Ashish Kumar, Managing Director, VERBIO India Private Ltd, spoke about Managing biomass supply chain logistics. Bioenergy sector entrepreneurship and finance was discussed by Mr Vijay Nirani, Managing Director, Nirani Group. A total of 145 - 152 people participated in the webinar.
