Training on Corrosion testing methods was held from 17th to 19th August 2020 and the course instructors were Prof. S. Parida and Prof. V. S. Raja from MEMS, IITB. The training was held for 24 HPCL engineers from Visakh Refinery, Mumbai Refinery and R&D Centre Bangalore as part of their knowledge enhancement. A total of seven lectures (spanning 9 hours) were delivered. As a follow up of this course, a project for studying High Temperature Hydrogen Attack (HTHC) in the Lube refinery of HPCL Mumbai is in discussion with Prof. V. S. Raja.
