A brainstorming session on Hydrogen Economy and related research areas was organized by CoEOGE on 28th April 2021 with the active participation of both the IIT Bombay Faculty and the member PSUs. Besides the speakers/presenters of this session, 40 personnel from six PSUs (BPCL, EIL, GAIL, HPCL, IOCL, and ONGC) participated in this session.
The discussion was held on the topics listed below:
1. India Country Status on Hydrogen and Future Prospects & Solid State Hydrogen Storage Materials and Systems Research at IITB
2. Efficient Hydrogen production through waste Biomass & Plastic Gasification using Waste Heat Recovery and Solar Gasification
3. Fuel cells - Current Status, Challenges, and Development of Fuel Cell Systems at IIT Bombay.
4. From water to hydrogen and back.
